Executive Deputy General Director Dang Thi Huong Giang: “Corporate Culture is the Cohesive Glue and the Foundation for Sustainable Development”

30/12/2025

Corporate culture is far more than just a code of conduct or slogans on a wall. It is an invisible yet enduring glue that unites people and sustains an organization’s stability over the long haul.

“Culture cannot be copied, nor can it be imposed”

Sharing her perspective as an executive at KLC Group—now entering a phase of robust expansion—Executive Deputy General Director Dang Thi Huong Giang affirmed:

“Corporate culture is not something you can simply ‘copy-paste’ from elsewhere; it must originate from the very people within the organization. The way we act every day—being punctual, responsible, honest, and supportive of our teammates—forms the very puzzle pieces that shape our identity.”

Executive Deputy General Director Dang Thi Huong Giang shares insights on corporate culture at KLC Group.

At KLC, this is clearly reflected through small, everyday actions: exchanging greetings, proactively coordinating across departments, or employees stepping up to support one another without being asked. These seemingly simple details create a distinct atmosphere—warm and friendly, yet thoroughly professional.

Not Just Activities — But a Daily Way of Life

Many people mistakenly believe corporate culture consists merely of internal events like team building, workshops, or company celebrations. According to Ms. Giang, such activities represent only the “tip of the iceberg”—they are seeds that help nurture culture, but they can never substitute for the core values embedded in how an organization operates day in and day out.

“If the work environment lacks fairness and recognition, no amount of team-building events can foster a genuine collective spirit. Conversely, when every individual feels heard, valued, and recognized for their contributions, corporate culture flourishes naturally and sustainably.”

Annual team-building retreats help revitalize energy across the entire staff.

Leading by Example to Inspire

From her executive standpoint, Ms. Huong Giang believes that forging strong bonds across departments and individuals is a vital priority.

“We cannot expect employees to participate enthusiastically if leaders themselves do not lead the way and walk alongside them. I always make it a priority to join sports events, cultural programs, and charitable initiatives with our team—not only to better understand our people, but also to inspire them and foster a true spirit of solidarity.”

After-work clubs are organized to foster closer connections among team members.
Typical examples include activities such as the Pickleball Club, charitable programs, and the “Humanitarian Blood Donation” drive, all of which see direct participation from the Leadership Team—forging a seamless bond that bridges all levels across the organization.

Solidarity and Sharing — The Measure of a Resilient Culture

According to Ms. Giang, the clearest sign of a strong organizational culture is solidarity.

“Not everyone is the same, but everyone shares an understanding of what they are contributing toward. When success is no longer seen as an individual effort but as the triumph of the entire collective, that bond endures through time.”

Walking alongside members in every program and event.
In reality, at this stage, KLC Group is undergoing significant transformations. For example, Viet Long Capital is achieving considerable success in the financial investment sector with robust business growth metrics, while in real estate, Stareal is building its internal resources to transition into a real estate developer in the coming period. The maturation of each member entity is driven by alignment with the leadership team’s strategic direction and the unified execution of all employees.

“Culture does not come from slogans, but from the daily vitality of an organization” – this is the consistent philosophy upheld by Deputy General Director Huong Giang. It also serves as the very bedrock shaping the distinctive identity of KLC Group as it firmly advances on its journey toward sustainable development.
