Building a foundation for cooperation from farming areas

Within the KLC Seafood ecosystem, the KLC Dai Duong XI Cooperative serves as a focal point in farming areas: organizing and connecting members, aggregating supplies, and aligning production more closely with supply chain requirements. KLC Seafood contributes its quality control, logistics, and market access capabilities, helping products from farming areas reach domestic and international trading networks.

The establishment of the cooperative helps strengthen the supply base that KLC Seafood is developing through 884 hectares of linked farming areas in Cam Ranh, Vạn Ninh, and Sông Cầu. On this foundation, the company aims to build an increasingly integrated operating chain covering farming areas, supply aggregation, quality control, logistics, and exports.

Supporting members through practical capabilities

A key part of the event was the announcement of policies to support the cooperative’s members. The cooperative aims to help farmers access aquaculture seed stock, feed, technical expertise, production organization methods, and sales channels, while introducing quality and traceability requirements at the farming areas from the beginning of the chain.

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Thuan, Deputy General Director of KLC Seafood, stated: “The launch of the KLC Đại Dương XI Cooperative is intended not only to expand links with farming areas, but more importantly to build a foundation for long-term cooperation between the company and marine farmers.”

This approach connects members’ production experience with the company’s operational capabilities. With coordinated supply aggregation, quality control, and market development throughout the chain,

farmers gain a stronger foundation for increasing product value and meeting customer requirements.

For KLC Seafood, support for members is guided by concrete capabilities: organizing supply, connecting technical expertise, controlling quality, and expanding sales channels. These capabilities provide a basis for building trust and stable cooperation among farmers, the cooperative, and the company.

From the farming base to international cooperation opportunities

Alongside the cooperative’s launch, the event featured agreement signings that expanded connections between the KLC ecosystem and its partners.

KLC Seafood and Jingdong Group signed a cooperation agreement aimed at market development and seafood exports to China. This initiative creates an additional bridge between supplies in Vietnam, KLC Seafood’s supply chain organization capabilities, and a partner in one of the company’s key markets.

The collaboration aims to strengthen information coverage of farming activities, cooperative members, collaborative models, and the development of the local seafood value chain.

“Shared Prosperity” – Continuing the journey from Vietnam’s seas

Building on KLC Group’s ecosystem and long-term development direction, KLC Seafood focuses on developing the seafood value chain, with an emphasis on live seafood and high-value products. In this journey, the KLC Đại Dương XI Cooperative adds organizational capacity in farming areas, connecting its members with KLC Seafood’s operations and markets.

This is also the spirit of “Shared Prosperity”: farmers gain better conditions for developing production; the cooperative strengthens its organizational and collaboration capabilities; and the company reinforces supply, quality, and its ability to meet market demand. The interests of all parties are connected in a shared development journey.

Following the launch of the KLC Dai Duong XI Cooperative, KLC Seafood continues to pursue the development of premium Vietnamese seafood based on quality, transparent traceability, and reliable supply capabilities. The connections established in farming areas will provide a foundation for the company and its members to increase product value, strengthen partner confidence, and gradually expand their presence in international markets.
