GREEN LOBSTER
A Strategic Product for the China Market
According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Vietnam’s green lobster exports to China reached approximately USD 503.9 million in the first five months of 2026, accounting for 99.53% of the country’s total lobster export value to this market.

SPOTTED BABYLON SNAIL
A Distinctive Seafood Product from Khánh Hòa
Spotted babylon snail is a premium live seafood product closely associated with the coastal waters of Central Vietnam. KLC Seafood has an established operational base and affiliated farming areas in Khánh Hòa, where the geographical indication “Khanh Hoa” has been protected in Vietnam for spotted babylon snail products.

According to records from the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam, Khanh Hoa spotted babylon snails have the following characteristics:
- Edible meat weight of approximately 4.8–5.5 grams per snail.
- Moisture content of approximately 66.3–67.1%.
- Naturally sweet meat with a distinctive aroma.
- Relatively low moisture content, helping reduce weight loss during cooking.
During order preparation, KLC Seafood grades spotted babylon snails according to:
- The number of snails per unit of weight.
- Size uniformity, live condition and shell integrity.
- Packaging specifications and transportation requirements.
Information on origin, size and specifications is confirmed for each batch before the transaction is finalized.

CA MAU MUD CRAB
A Renowned Specialty from Vietnam’s Southernmost Region
Ca Mau mud crab is one of Vietnam’s best-known seafood specialties, closely associated with the region’s mangrove forests and distinctive brackish-water ecosystem.

The product is valued for its firm texture, rich natural sweetness, high meat yield and distinctive flavour, making it well suited to the premium live seafood segment.
The name “Cà Mau” has been protected as a geographical indication in Vietnam for crab products.
According to the geographical indication records:
- Meat crab
- Weight: approximately 220–460 grams per crab.
- Protein content: approximately 14.34–18.75%.
- Roe crab
- Weight: approximately 260–390 grams per crab.
- Protein content: approximately 14.06–19.99%.
- Fat content in the roe: approximately 5.64–10.62%.

KLC Seafood has added Cà Mau mud crab to its premium live seafood portfolio to broaden the sourcing options available to importers, distributors and foodservice operators in China.
For each order, the company works with customers to confirm the type of crab, weight, meat firmness, roe condition, live condition and packaging specifications. Product sources and supporting documentation are managed at the batch level.
