Following Typhoon Bualoi in late September 2025, many areas across Central Vietnam have been working to recover from the damage and rebuild their daily lives. In response, KLC Group’s leadership team traveled to Ky Anh Commune, Ha Tinh Province, to personally deliver VND 100 million in timely support to local residents.
Typhoon Bualoi and the Impact on Ky Anh Commune
Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) made landfall in Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and Quang Tri provinces on the night of September 28 and early morning of September 29, 2025, bringing winds of 12–13 on the Beaufort scale, with gusts reaching level 14 in some areas. Widespread heavy rain, tornadoes and rising floodwaters caused a province-wide power outage in Ha Tinh overnight, while numerous homes were damaged, trees were uprooted and transportation and essential infrastructure were severely affected.
In Ky Anh Commune, Ha Tinh Province, the storm damaged a number of facilities, including Ky Tien Kindergarten and Ky Giang Kindergarten. Both schools suffered roof damage and flooding, while walls in several classrooms collapsed, disrupting teaching and learning activities. Although local authorities and teachers worked to address the damage, further support from the community was still needed to restore learning conditions and help residents stabilize their lives after the storm.

The aftermath of the storm went beyond damaged homes and eroded roads. For local residents, it also brought the challenge of rebuilding a sense of normalcy. Recovery takes time and requires resources to gradually rebuild infrastructure and restore everyday life.
KLC Group Launches “Standing with Central Vietnam in the Recovery from Typhoon Bualoi”
After learning about the damage in Ha Tinh, KLC Group quickly launched the program “Standing with Central Vietnam in the Recovery from Typhoon Bualoi”, calling on employees across the Group to come together in support of communities affected by the storm.
The campaign was carried out over 10 days, from October 1 to 9, 2025, and received strong support from the Group’s leadership and employees. Within a short period, VND 100 million was transferred to the KLC working team’s representative. The contribution reflected the solidarity, sense of responsibility and compassion of the KLC family toward the community.
On the morning of October 17, 2025, a KLC Group delegation led by Ms. Dang Thi Huong Giang – Deputy General Director of KLC Group traveled to Ky Anh Commune, Ha Tinh Province, to deliver support to households severely affected by Typhoon Bualoi. The delegation was welcomed and supported locally by:
- Mr. Nguyen Anh Hoan – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ky Anh Commune
- Mr. Le Hoai Nam – Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh Commune
- Mr. Nguyen Kien Quyet – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ky Anh Commune
As part of the program, KLC Group worked with Ky Anh Commune to provide VND 100 million in support to Ky Tien Kindergarten, Ky Giang Kindergarten and several disadvantaged households severely affected by the storm.
The handover took place in a simple and warm atmosphere. Representatives of KLC Group offered their regards and encouragement to local residents, expressing hope that the support would help them recover and return to a more stable life after the natural disaster.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ms. Dang Thi Huong Giang shared:
“Every gift presented today represents the care and support of everyone at KLC Group. We hope that these contributions will give local residents greater confidence as they overcome difficulties and rebuild their lives.”
The close coordination between KLC Group and the local authorities in Ky Anh Commune helped ensure that the program was carried out effectively and reached those who needed support at the right time. The initiative also reflects the Group’s long-standing commitment to compassion and social responsibility throughout its development journey.
Continuing KLC Group’s Commitment to the Community
KLC Group’s support for Central Vietnam following Typhoon Bualoi is part of its ongoing commitment to the community. Previously, in September 2024, when Typhoon Yagi caused severe damage in Yen Bai Province, the Group launched the program “Joining Hands to Help Yen Bai Students Return to School,” raising VND 200 million to support school reconstruction and provide desks, chairs and learning supplies for students in affected areas.
For KLC Group, every community initiative carries its own meaning, extending the spirit of solidarity and compassion toward fellow citizens in times of hardship. We believe that when support is shared and multiplied, even difficult challenges can be overcome, helping communities in Central Vietnam recover and return to a more stable life.
